After moving west in 2017 to chase waves, he found a stage in California's music scene, performing solo acoustic sets that reimagine classic rock, folk, and country favorites with a raw, soulful touch.

From Texas to California
Greg was raised in North East Texas and spent most of his life there until moving west to CA in 2017. He got the surfing bug after a trip to Costa Rica and a few years later moved to Encinitas chasing waves. He gained the nickname "Texas Greg" from friends around the Encinitas surfing scene at Beacons Beach in Leucadia where he has lived since 2017. His influences are broad, as he grew up with 80's and 90's rock and being from North East Texas was also surrounded by country sounds of that time. You will find him performing a diverse mix of classic rock, blues, country and R&B as a solo acoustic musician.
